SCORM evolution occurred more than 3 times since initialized 1997. The progressive changes seen from the previous edition of SCORM is SCORM version 1.2 suffered in 2004, namely January 2004 (SCORM 1 st Edition), July 2004 (SCORM 2 nd Edition). The changes will cause different effects on implementation. Advantages and disadvantages become integral part not on the effect of the implementation of standardization.

One of the main specifications of SCORM is Content Aggregation Model or usually call CAM, which represents the right way for the manufacturer and implementing instructions to gather resources or learning materials, which aims to provide an atmosphere of learning effectively.

Along with the changes that occur in the SCORM, the CAM is also involved in specific changes in the Content Model, Content Packaging, Metadata, and the addition of CAM SCORM specification in the 2004 2 nd is the sequencing and Navigation.
